This recipe is simple - it comes from a box! Even though it's not an original recipe, I wanted to share it for two reasons. 1) These biscuits are AMAZING - fluffy, flavorful, and cheesy. 2) The brand is 100% Gluten Free and continuously impresses me with each product I try of theirs.

Live G Free has a large line of products - my favorite is their GF corn bread! - from cereals, bars, boxed goods (cake mixes, stuffing, biscuits, etc) grains/pastas, breads, and more. My mom first discovered Live G Free at our local Aldi store. I do believe Live G Free is an Aldi brand, but it can be found on amazon (but is more costly). I recommend you go to Aldi's website to use their store locator to see if you can purchase this awesome brand for yourself!
These biscuits are so simple. All you need is the boxed mix, oil (I used vegetable oil), shredded cheddar cheese, water, and butter. There is buttermilk powder in the biscuit mix, so this recipe cannot be made vegan (sorry folks!).

First, preheat the oven to 425. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper (I used amazon basics baking mat (https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Silicone-Baking-Mat-Pack/dp/). Next, stir together oil, water, shredded cheese, and biscuit mix until dough forms. Then, with a spoon, scoop the dough into 10 biscuit portions and place on baking sheet (roughly 2 inches apart). Bake for 16 minutes, until golden brown on top.

While the biscuits are baking, melt butter in a microwave safe dish and stir in the garlic herb packet until well blended. When the biscuits are done, brush a teaspoon of the garlic herb butter mix on top of each hot biscuit. Enjoy immediately!

Gluten Free Cheddar Cheese Biscuit Recipe:
11.36 oz package of Live G Free Cheddar Cheese Biscuit Mix
1 cup + 1 Tbsp Cold Water
4 Tbsp Oil (I used vegetable oil)
1/2 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
For the Garlic and Herb Mix:
1 Garlic Herb Mix Packet (included in box)
1/4 Cup melted Butter
I hope you enjoy this delicious, mouth-watering GF biscuit recipe! They will not disappoint.
Side Note: They are comparable to Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay Biscuits (which prior to being Gluten Free, I LOVED).
